Driven shoot: The Old Hall shoot is situated in the heart of mid-Wales, lying just a few miles inside the Shropshire/Hereford border, adjacent to the Radnor Forest. Travelling by car the shoot is roughly three and a Half hours from London, two from Manchester, one and three quarters from Birmingham and one and a half from Cardiff.

Shoot: On 400 acres excellent high duck and pheasant  Partridge Woodcock present on the banks of the Welsh Dee.

On steep hill sided woodlands and clear open fell we operate 3 cages and 3 duck ponds, with great Larch good hard woods  and hemlock 2000 pheasant 400  partridge and 750 duck  for 2007 season with the river we noted many wild duck  as we walked the land this early part of the year.

Shoot: Walked up shoot  on  70 acres excellent pheasant, some duck and woodcock.

An small hillside with stubble cover crops and at the lower end of the farm open fields and wetland offering great cover, on visits last year we had 10-15 birds in an 1.5 hour session each time. The farmer charges us £15 a bird, but we subsidise this for you with a 50% payment scheme and you may visit it twice per annum only and limit is 5 birds for subsidy, after this your paying out of your own pocket.

An mountainous piece of land of  100 acre’s with some nice Summer Autumn Pigeon shooting the land attracts many pigeons for the wimberry. There is a plantation her also and a mixed species on the mountain including Foxes. No Lead shot as the water from the spring is drinking water for the house.

An small hillside and some good hard woods there is potential  we are putting feeders in this season and laying down partridge and pheasant for 2005 season with the river we noted some wild duck taking of as we walked the land.

Shoot: Good rough bird shoot.

This land is easily accessible from the Midlands or London and has interesting potential as a good rough shoot of roughly 300 acres, there is around 400 acres of woodland for stalking and is set in undulating countryside. There are rabbits and pigeons and good stocked pheasant, French partridge and grey partridge
The Game keeper already has cover crops planted and feeders are placed strategically at different locations .
