Rough Shoots

Shoot: Rough Shoot with a river running through property small area of  woodland  and borders extensive woodlands.

A 715-acre area with excellent wild stocks of small ground game, good Partridge and wild Pheasant, a tremendous pigeon shoot. We have a flight pond of 1 acre with wild duck regularly present, arable countryside.

roughshoot_foston_01.jpgLarge fields with crops such as oat’s, and beans, which makes for exciting pigeon shooting. A useful feature is that the land has a river bordering it with associated Wild Mallard and some other species occasionally visit like Canada-geese. There will be cover crops placed down again this coming season to assist Partridge and maintain excellent pigeon shooting.
