Hunting Season:

  • Savana: Christmas – May.
  • Forest: April – July.
  • Savana and Forest: April – May.

Hunting Area:
This is a 31 days hunt (excluding the days necessary for moving from one camp to another) that consists in two parts, one in the savana and the other in the Cameroon forest. The two parts of the safari can be done one after the other or in two different periods.

The grassy savana is a territory with highlands, hills and various water courses. The vastness of the territory favours the meeting of various kinds of animals, as: Elephants, Buffalos, Roan, Giant Eland, Lions, Hartebeest, Waterbuck, Hippos, Bushbuck, various small gazelles and different kinds of birds.

The Cameroon forest is one of the most difficult hunting areas in Africa. The vegetation is practically impenetrable, the temperatures over 30°C with 100% humidity and frequent rains. Good physical conditions are mandatory as there is a risk of feeling discomfort and claustrophobia.
